Ragdoll Physics Experiment<\/i> is a 3D narrative game focused entirely on ragdoll physics and getting through different tasks and situations whilst playing as said ragdoll character. <\/strong>It’s both witty and funny, while also testing your practicality as you build and traverse different courses to achieve victory and reach the next area.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h5>\n

Giraffe Head Studios recently showcased <\/span>Ragdoll Physics Experiment<\/span><\/i> at Pocket Gamer Connects London<\/a>, where they also won the Console\/PC Big Indie pitch to boot.<\/span><\/p>\n

The developers I spoke with mentioned that <\/span>Ragdoll Physics Experiment<\/span><\/i> takes a lot of influence from both <\/span>Portal<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The Stanley Parable;<\/span><\/i> Blending humour with puzzle solving all wrapped in a world filled with different experiments for you to pass in different ways \u2014 like using the build system to create your own structures and items that you can purchase in a shop to help your progress further.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need to bash dummies, transport items and find your own way to complete the tasks ahead all while having the robotic narrator start laying into and joking to you about your choices as well as a lot of funny visual signs and props to keep the humour going.<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of the <\/span>Ragdoll Physics Experiment<\/span><\/i> was also inspired by games of a similar nature that one of the developers used to Stream, which led to the idea of their current project. There seems to also be quite a community following for the game, with the team regularly interacting through their Discord holding competitions and small interactions such as being able to name a piece of toast from a toaster in a room off the beaten path as well as other opportunities to interact and get involved with the game.<\/span><\/p>\n

It already looks promising and seems to have a good balance of creativity and wit that will surely keep you playing and chuckling as you go.<\/span><\/p>\n

A demo is available to test out for yourself on Steam, however there is no current release date.<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n
