So, you want to write about games?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Great news, here at B3 we’re always looking for new contributors to join us in our quest to champion the greatest games out there.<\/p>\n

Why B3?<\/strong><\/p>\n

At B3 we believe in games of all shapes and sizes, and we believe that interactive media \u2014 be that video games or board games \u2014 is the best type of media out there. That’s why we got started highlighting and reviewing video games back in 2016<\/em>.<\/p>\n

What Do You Need to Join the Team, and what do you get?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Video games are created by a whole range of people, for a whole range of reasons. If you can respect a game for the time that’s been spent on it, the idea behind it, and the effort that has gone into it (even if you are not the target audience) then you’re a perfect fit for B3.<\/p>\n

We are trying to build a tightly-knit group of contributors who talk to each other, trust each other, and game with each other. With that in place, there are no limits as to how far we could grow. And, hopefully, we’ll one day be able to pay back with more than respect and the odd free game.<\/em><\/p>\n

Whichever role(s) you undertake, we’re eager to give you a platform on which to showcase your work. In return, we can offer you editing and feedback on your work, as well as a persisting portfolio \u2014 even if you haven’t had much experience we can lend a helping hand.<\/p>\n

B3 Contributors have gone on to work for websites like Rock, Paper, Shotgun, IGN Italia, Pocket Gamer, TheGamer and more. Members of our team have also worked on games such as Timberborn, These Doomed Isles, Core Keeper and Grand Theft Auto VI.<\/strong><\/p>\n

At the moment the site is running light adverts (two blocks) and affiliate links which go toward paying for our hosting and site upkeep. We are not running at a profit, and, as such cannot pay for articles. That said, review games are -of course- retained by the reviewers, and we intend to switch to a system through networking where we can pay as soon as the site is large enough to support a friendly, alternative method of raising funds.<\/em><\/p>\n

This role is perfect for somebody looking to move into a journalistic, games industry, or writing-based career; opportunities to develop your creative writing, industry knowledge, and interview and conversational technique will be rife \u2014 should you so wish.<\/em><\/p>\n
